14th August and Baloch nation |
14.08.2005 |
By Anwar Noor Baloch It must be a great, bright, and happiness day for Pakistanis. Pakistanis claim that they won independence on this day, 14th August 1947. The all the world has acknowledged Pakistan had never existed during the 1800’s and early 1900’s, when Great Briton ruled India. Islam was a weapon to be used to create such country, namely Pakistan. It should be asked how in the name of religion the new state could be formed.
Prophet Mohammed, founder of Islam did not teach such education which was acted by Mohammed Ali Jinna and formed Pakistan.
Despite the fact that, Baloch nation, intellectually was not prepared to become a part of Pakistan and to be called Pakistani. Balochs were persuaded with falls promises in the name of Islam and they were forced to lose their Balochi identification. They had not only been persuaded with false promises and forced, but also they had been put in to the jails, had been tortured, and killed for not obeying the newborn Pakistan.
When Pakistan got the superiority, it has started looting the great recourses of Balochistan, such as gas, marbles, coals, uranium for the use of nuclear weapons and using the great coastal areas such as coastal areas of Gawader, Pasani, Jiwani, and Urmada. Pakistan had boomed its economy during these years with these recourses of Balochistan. Well, it won’t be fair to say the economy of Pakistan, as Pakistan stands for four provinces Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab and Sarhad, which was defined and explained by Pakistanis. The fact, which should be said, is the economy of "Punjab" and not Pakistan, as the Punjabis taste the advantages only and not the other three provinces.
Shall we Baloch celebrate on this day, 14th August? How someone can do that on darkness day, the day from which they had lost their identification? How someone can be happy who had lost his/her close relatives because of this state? How someone can celebrate who never listened, his problems were not considered, and who always put in darkness.
The world should agree for what said by the American leader, Lincoln Abraham, who always stood up for Antislavery Movement in America when he began to lead the American nation and who said; those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves, and under a just God, cannot long retain it. He must be right for what he said, Lincoln Abraham. Today we can realize that Pakistan is too, not enjoying its independence and it should not as they, Pakistanis, deny the right of freedom to Baloch nation.
14th August is not for Baloch nation. Hence, they should not take part to celebrate, they should not be happy and the most important is, they should not keep quite saying and expressing that they had been forced to be slave of slave which is Pakistan. |
