QUETTA: Two Frontier Corps personnel were shot dead in Khuzdar, 300 kilometres from the provincial metropolis on Friday.
According to official sources, Behdozaman and Alam Shah were going to bazaar in civil dress in Khuzdar when unidentified people ridding a motorcycle sprayed them with bullets. Both security personnel died on the spot while the assailants fled from the scene. Law enforcement agencies and police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and took the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy.
Later, law enforcement agencies and police cordoned off the area and started a search operation, but no group has claimed responsibility of the killing so far. Investigations are underway.
