QUETTA: Unidentified men tried to blow up a vehicle, carrying law enforcement agency personnel on Sunday, at the Hazarganji Road on Sunday. According to police sources, unidentified men had placed a remote control bomb at a roadside in the Hazarganji area, which was detonated as soon as the vehicle passed from there. No casualty has been reported. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, the Frontier Corps (FC) personnel received information about a bomb planted at a roadside in the Khuzdar area on Sunday, which they managed to defuse successfully. APP also learnt that unidentified men hurled a hand grenade at a grid station located along the Airport Road. The grenade failed to explode and was later defused by the bomb disposal squad. Cases have been registered for all three incidents and investigations have started. app
