Rawalpindi—The President of Jamhoori Watan Party Nawab Talal Akbar Khan Bugti has rejected the Balochistan package announced by Federal Government saying “it is only mode to pay the ministers, MNAs and Senators while the real representatives of Baloch people are sitting outside the assemblies.”
He also demanded that Pervez Musharrraf should be hanged to death for murdering Nawab Akbar Bugti and hundreds innocent Balochis.
He was talking to the journalists at Benazir International Airport on his arrival from Quetta.
He said Pakistan People’s Party regime the continuity of Pervez Musharraf’s policies.
He said the military operation in Balochistan is still going on. And their property and assets, which were confiscated by President Musharraf in 2005, have not been yet released. President Zardari is telling lies and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif declared him as IG of liars.
He said Balochs do not want Balochistan package or NFC award. They only want provincial autonomy.
“The people of the province are moving to the way of independence and only provincial autonomy could prevent them.”
Replying a question he said if army remains there, his party will boycott the next general elections, no whether letter PML(N) would participate in these polls or not.
He said that he came to Islamabad on the invitation of Mian Nawaz Sharif as he had made all the arrangements of his protocol and residence in Islamabad. There are not any scheduled meetings with any government personality. However if Nawaz Sharif visits Islamabad during his stay, he will see him.
He said Nawaz Sharif is looking for saving his government in Punjab but he will not commit any thing which would be harmful for the country. He said if the current situation prevails for any longer, it would be harmful for the integrity of the country.
Bugti said in 1971, the agencies wrongly advised Gen Yahya Khan which resulted splitting Pakistan. Now the rulers are acting upon the bad advices of the secret agencies. He said the Baloch people are patriots and they will not tolerate any agenda to break Pakistan once again.
He said in spite of promises made by President Zardari and Interior Minister Rehman Malik, no relief was given to Balochi people. As a matter of fact, they are speaking lie in every matter. “It seems that the rulers realized that this is the last chance for them and they are making big money with both hands by selling licenses of Klashankovs and employments.
