Munir Ladha in an interview to daily times said entire Pakistan depends on Sui gas

03.05.2009

Talking about the security situation in Balochistan he said entire country’s natural gas supply comes from Baluchistan’s Sui gas field. I do not have the figures right now, but I believe the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) too is heavily dependent upon the situation in Balochistan and apart from this, the Marri gas supply also gets impacted. I am concerned about the situation of that province and its impact on the country’s major oil and gas companies.

Munir Ladha, the CEO of Eastern Capital and Shams Petrochemical. Ladha is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is the chairman of Shams Petrochemical, the largest bulk storage, distribution and marketing company of petrochemicals in Pakistan.
