QUETTA: Unidentified gunmen kidnapped seven officials of the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO), a construction company of the Pakistan Army, along with Rs 4.2 million cash in their custody, in Khuzdar district on Monday. According to eyewitnesses, nine FWO officials were coming from a local bank after withdrawing the monthly salary of workers constructing the Hoshab-Surab road in Khuzdar district when masked gunmen riding six vehicles stopped them at Dhothank, 12 kilometres from Surab. The gunmen snatched the money and kidnapped all the FWO men, except two senior officials.
