QUETTA: Gas supply to the Punjab has been completely suspended on Wednesday after a powerful time bomb blast damaged a 16-inch gas pipeline in the Sui area 238. The blast completely damaged a three-feet-long portion of the pipeline. The Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) management said the pipeline would be repaired within the next 24 hours and the supply would be restored to the affected areas. Area police have registered a case and started an investigation. Balochistan republican army later claimed responsibility of this blast and vowed to step up their efforts against Pakistani occupation of Baloch lands and resources. |
