In March 2005 Three Young Brave Members of Baloch Students Organization were abducted by Secret Services of Pakistan Government i.e. ISI. Security Forces had picked them up after they had joined a protest in March against the military operation in Balochistan, in which 70 Baloch died and more than 200 women and Children were injured.
Two of them who were released in May reported torture, degrading treatment and detention in isolation for periods extending to a month. Torture victims in custody of ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) were blindfolded, stripped and suspended from rotating fans as electric shocks were applied repeatedly to their bodies, beating on the soles of the feet, extinguishing of cigarettes on various parts of the body, extraction of fingernails and toenails and threats of piercing of the hands with an electric drill, Electric wire was attached to there penis and another one attached to one of his toe and the end of it connected to an Electric Motor.
They were placed in cells where they could hear the screams of others being tortured and have been deprived of sleep.
Among these three, the Condition of Dr. Allah Nazar who is still in secret agencies hands is said to be especially grave, He is partially paralyzed and reportedly unable to speak or recognize anyone as result of being tortured. His family has expressed concern that his injuries may result in complete paralysis unless he receives immediate medical treatment in hospital. However, the authorities have reportedly denied the men access to medical treatment.
As of present Dr. Allah Nazar is reportedly being held in a police station in the village of Chandar Maa which is about 25km from the city of Sadiq Abad, Punjab province.
The old habits never die. Today, they are continuing their brutal campaigns against the civilized and peace-loving people of two other Provinces - Sindh and Balochistan. They are savagely usurping the rights of Baloch, arresting those who speak the truth and fight for their human rights, stuffing them in dungeon-like prisons, without trial, without justice, and systematically torture them, till they die. Those who do not die become either insane or vegetables. Pakistan claims to be a Muslim state but she has broken the record of Nazis with her treatment of prisoners whose only crime is to demand their human rights.
These students who are near death because of beastly treatment and torture need urgent medical treatment but still are denied arrogantly by the agencies. What Pakistani army has done with Bengali Muslims in 1971 now repeating the same cruelty with
Baloch.
We the people of Balochistan denounce such action and appeal to all the Human Rights Organization to Pressurize the Pakistani Government to stop the brutality and injustice they are doing with Dr. Allah Nazar and other young Baloch Students. Instead of sleeping and seeing our basic human rights being usurped its about time for the self proclaimed champions of Human Rights to take action. |
