Baloch unity urges Baloch nation to struggle for unity

29.11.2003

Baloch unity on Tuesday asked the Baloch nation to rejuvenate the promise that "we will continue our struggle for the mutual affinity and unity among ourselves".

In his message on Eid-ul-Fitr, Baloch unity said that the Baloch nation should also make efforts on this auspicious occasion to shun tribal sectarianism and differences to inculcate unity in our ranks. "To maintain balance in our lives and avoid tribal extremism is in line with the teachings of Islam and it is our Baloch duty in such difficult times in our history as our enemies are pushing us to the wall needs to be followed," Baloch unity added.

Following is the text of the message of Baloch unity on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr: "On the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, we convey our deepest felicitations to all of you. It is due to Allah Almightyâ?Ts blessings upon us that the whole month of Ramazan passed with calmness and tranquility between our brotherly tribes as almighty extended His Blessings upon us and over each corner of our Baloch nation.

"Such ambiences are due to special kindness and benevolence of Allah Almighty and therefore we should submit our utmost gratefulness to Him. Alhamdo Lillah, Baloch nation got an opportunity to remain absorbed in Ibadaat (prayers) throughout the holy month and continued the efforts of obedience to gain the acceptance of Allah Almighty. You are fully aware of the importance of Ramazan, which is not only a month to offer prayers, but also great stress has been laid on fulfilling the rights of people in addition to other Ibadaat. It is the month to express kindness towards others and develop peace and harmony. These instructions invite us to practically show mutual affection brotherhood and unity towards others and share happiness with all our Baloch and Muslim brothers, sisters, elder and the younger ones around us so that all the people suffering with misery and distress may forget their grievances.

"It should also be kept in mind that this practice may not only confine to the Eid day but also extend to the rest of our lives. It will not only create good atmosphere in the Baloch nation which will prove helpful for our development and prospect but will also act as a source unity and pride for our Balochistan  for playing such positive role for the Baloch nation.

"Eid-ul-Fitr is a festival celebrated world-wide among the Muslim Ummah. We should individually as well as collectively pray to Allah Almighty for the prosperity and unity of our Baloch country and Baloch nation as well as the entire humanity.

"On this occasion, the need is to rejuvenate the promise that we will continue to struggle for mutual affinity and unity among ourselves and never allow our enemies to divide us on tribal sectarianism. Also, the efforts to shun our political and personal differences must be our top priority. Our preferences should be to provide the Baloch nation with the true prospective of the independent Baloch country and should put the human right violations committed by Pakistan and Iran against Baloch nation in the world focus. To maintain balance in our lives and avoid tribal extremism against each other is in the line with the teachings of Islam and needs to be followed. "On this occasion, we pray to Allah Almighty to save our Baloch country from every crisis and calamities and open gateways of His blessings and benevolence to us so that we also enjoy freedom and equality in our home land and join the club of free nations."
